Green-beans and Mushrooms with a Shiitake-Jalapeno Teriyaki Sauce.

Like the title says.  Sauce was awesome.  Unfortunately recipe was "toss stuff in a pot and reduce while you cook beans and mushrooms".  I made it up.  Included jalapeños,  shiitake mushrooms,  oyster sauce,  brown sugar,  soy sauce,  and garlic.  And vegetable broth.  All reduced while the green-beans and mushrooms were stir-fried.  Combined and served over white rice with crushed walnuts to top.
Nom nom nom.

Oh walnuts.  You are delicious.

Burritos... Rice and Beans

Mexican is fun to make... and so unhealthy.  Refried beans with sour cream and cheese mixed in,  mexican rice (onions... tomatoes... spicy stuff... baked in an oven) and a bean/rice/cheese burrito. I melted cheese on top of a tortilla,  then filled it with rice/beans,  then added mexican rice and refried beans on the side,  topped with cheese, and baked for a while.  Then added some side type stuff.  Eat with oh so much Cholula.
Mostly Cheese.

Pad-Thai With Tofu

What a terribly ugly picture.  This is pad-thai with pan-fried tofu (in a soy-sauce type sauce... the tofu is the best part.)
beeeeeean sprouts.  Always awesome.

One-Pot Pasta

One-pot pasta again.  Looks better before you cook it... but super delicious and easy!
Umm... some stuff i had around.  Also Spices??

Topped with feta and fresh basil.

Sun-dried Tomato-Brocoli-Basil Pasta Topped with Fresh Tomatoes and Spinach

Obviously I have gotten bored with posting japan photos.  So... I'll be posting the food I make.  Mostly so I can remember and make it again. This week... pasta! we have a bunch so I'm using it.  Hopefully it will go away soon so I can make something else soon.

Lots of basil!  Also some sautéed spinach

Everything is better with beer.
